Ladybug Applique Crochet Pattern

Ladybug Applique Crochet Pattern

Materials Needed

H hook

Worsted weight yarn

Tapestry Needle

Abbreviation Key

(US terms)

ch - chain

st - stitch

sl st - slip stitch

hdc - half double crochet

dc - double crochet

Pattern

Round 1 – ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring.

Round 2 - ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc in center of ring, sl st in 3rd ch of ch 3. Finish off. (12 sts)

Switch to Black

Round 3 - leaving a long tail, sl st where you finished off, 3 hdc in next st, sl st in next stitch. Finish off, leaving a long tail. (3 sts)

Detail

Use on tail to make line down center.

Use other tail to make spots with french knots.

Weave in ends.
