Towel Holder Crochet Pattern

This towel holder pattern is easy to read for beginners and works up quickly. The holder is designed to attached to an oven handle. Slip your towel through the hole at the bottom. The crochet pattern is available here for free.  There is also a printable version available with photos of the steps.

Materials Needed

J hook

Cotton yarn

Button

Abbreviation Key

ch - chain

st - stitch

sl st - slip stitch

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

Pattern

Ch 20, sl st in 1st ch to form ring.

Round 1 – ch 1, 25 sc around ring (crochet over entire chain), sl st in 1st sc. (25 sts)

Round 2 – ch 1, 30 sc around ring ( over Round 1), sl st in 1st sc. (30 sts)

Row 1 – ch 1, sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts, turn. (6 sts)

Row 2-12 – ch 2, dc in next st, dc in next 5 sts, turn. (6 sts)

Row 13 – ch 2, dc in next st, dc in next 5 sts. Finish off. Weave in ends. (6 sts)


Sew button onto middle of rows 2 & 3.

Fold over. Push button through the front between the of posts of 2 dc.
